Outside the Ropes was a gritty, honest, and real story about a young girl's struggles to face the real world. It was a harsh world filled with violence, drugs, and emotional abuse. I admired Regan's fighter spirit, and she and Gage were a perfect match in…well, in fighter history! The plot was well-developed, and I was literally captivated by every chapter. The only change I would make are minor changes to some of editing. Regardless, this book has a lot of potential, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a book to cozy up with.
