Of Fear and Faith by ND Jones

Of Fear and Faith was quite a long book to stay the least. However, it was one that displayed a great deal of research and a stickler for details. It should be celebrated for the way it recognized the importance of culture. Additionally, I commend the author for successfully setting up the story in a way that made you feel as if you had entered another world. The characters were well developed, and I felt as if I knew who everyone was. All in all, I enjoyed reading this book. The interesting thing is, though, this book definitely ended on a cliff hanger. This book was really just prequel to the main action--kind of like Part I of the last Harry Potter movie. Don't miss book two!
